Stroke Screenings

Are you one of the many people that have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes? Perhaps you have family history of heart disease, stroke, or internal cancers? If so, PLEASE do not miss the ultrasound screening event that will take place here at Lumen Christi. Stroke Scan Plus will be hosting Vascular and Organ Wellness Ultrasound Screenings on Friday, July 1. These screenings are all done by ultrasound. There are no needles, blood draw, nor any disrobing necessary for these services.  

The team will check the carotid arteries for blockages, the abdominal aorta for aneurysm, and will also scan several vital organs for stones, nodules, or any tumors that could be cancer.  

Collectively, these screenings cost thousands in hospitals and are usually not covered by insurance providers unless a person is already having symptoms. Stroke Scan is offering these services to our parishioners for $159 for all 7 tests combined. Insurance of any kind is not necessary to receive this discounted rate. Pre-registration is required, and you can either sign-up online (link below) or in-person the weekend of June 25-26 with representatives at the welcome desk.
