The construction team has been working hard all summer and we are happy to report that the project is on schedule to open on the first day of school! Take a look at some photos below of our new spaces.
This week, the outside of the new 3K space was treated with an air and vapor barrier. It is now ready for the exterior brickwork. Next week, construction will begin on the school's interior spaces.
The construction of our new 3K classrooms is progressing well. Masons began framing the new walls.
Our new cafetorium is nearly all enclosed, and we continue to choose finishes for our new space. We expect that all new areas will be ready for students next August.
We have a roof on the new cafetorium, and they are preparing to pour the concrete floor next week. We are also hopeful that the brickwork will start on the exterior of the new spaces in the next week or so.
The brickwork has started on the exterior of the cafetorium. They have also poured the concrete for the stage in our new space. Next week, teachers will be packing up and moving items so that the renovations on our interior spaces can commence.
Construction is underway for the new 3K space, expanded school office, and cafetorium. Last week, the wall came down on the east side of "Camp Cozy" and the windows were removed from the gym hallway.

Members of our Parish Leadership Team met with the Building Commission of the Archdiocese recently as a continued dialog of our school building renovations/additions. Previously, Lumen Christi was granted permission to hire Plunkett Raysich as the architectural firm for the project. The City of Mequon has approved the project and we look forward to receiving approval from the Archdiocese and beginning the project April 1st.
We are in the process of choosing flexible seating options for the new "Cafetorium" (cafeteria & auditorium). Additional details will be shared at a later date.
