Safeguarding All of God's Family
Lumen Christi is committed to providing a safe environment for all. In compliance with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, all volunteers over the age of 18 must attend a (free, one time) Safe Environment Education Session, pass a criminal background check and sign the Code of Ethical Standards for Church Leaders. In addition, it is our goal to have ALL parents and adults attend this class to increase awareness and safety. This would also qualify all parishioners to volunteer with any child or youth ministry program in any capacity (even as simple as checking students in, serving as a hall monitor or helping with Children's Liturgy of the Word).

Safe Environment Education - IN PERSON
Lumen Christi will be hosting in-person sessions on September 10 at 9:00 AM & 6:00 PM in St. Cecilia Hall.

This training will be conducted in person. Registration for this session will close 24 hours prior to the start time of the session, and you will be sent an email with the link and instructions for training session. The session will take three hours and you will be required to participate in the session in its entirety. This session is not appropriate for those under the age of 18. Please make arrangements to participate in this training without children or youth present. A partnership of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the Catholic Mutual Group.
