Holy Land Pilgrimage 2022

Many thanks to all of you that prayed for the success of our pilgrimage to the Holy Land this past month. It was a beautiful, affirming experience that left each of us very grateful for our faith. We first arrived at our guesthouse on the Sea of Galilee where we spent 4 days exploring the ministry of Jesus around Capernaum and his call of the disciples, reflecting on our own call to discipleship. With visits to Nazareth, Mt. Tabor, and Cana, we headed down south to the Jordan River, the Dead Sea, and on to Jerusalem, where we dove deep into the final week of Christ’s life for another 4 days. Highlights included Masses on the Mount of Beatitudes in Galilee, the cave in Bethlehem, and the tomb of Christ at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
