Congratulations to Lumen Christi 8th-grade students Sophia, George, and Violet who were recognized by the Knights of Columbus for their Catholic Citizenship Essays!

The Knights of Columbus Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest is sponsored to encourage today’s youth to get connected with their community and faith. The contest was open to 8th graders with the theme being “How can the Church evangelize in the digital age?” The winners were announced and prizes awarded on December 5th. The essays will advance to the statewide contest. Winners at the state level will be announced in January.
