The Knights of Columbus Mequon Council asked students to show how to ‘Keep Christ in Christmas’ by creating themed posters. The contest was intended to promote the true spirit of Christmas in homes, schools, and parishes throughout the world. 40 students participated locally, with the winning Mequon entries advancing to the district/region and then to state, national and international levels. The winning entries may serve as the basis for a series of new Christmas posters that encourage a deeper understanding of the holiday.
“By engaging the creativity and imaginations of our youth, we hope they will come to a deeper understanding of the true, spiritual meaning of Christmas,” — Grand Knight Tim Bailey of Mequon Council 4538.
