Have an odd job that needs be done?

Love Begins Here (LBH) is a Catholic outreach initiative through the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. It is an opportunity for Catholic Youth Missionaries to spend a week experiencing their faith through community, service, and prayer. Lumen Christi is excited to be a host site for the LBH Middle School Week June 17-20. We are looking to serve local community organizations as well as homeowners in the Mequon/Ozaukee County community.  

Dates of service: Tuesday, June 18th & Wednesday, June 19th  
Times: 9:45-Noon & 1-3:30 PM

Possible tasks could include:

• weeding
• mulching
• outdoor painting
• cleaning
• window washing
• car detailing
• organizing
• and more!

(Note: we cannot operate any kind of power tools or use ladders)

This is an outreach initiative to serve beyond the walls of our parish. Homeowners do not need to be parish members or Catholic. If you have a neighbor who could use some extra help this summer, please let us know! Please contact Kayla Schoofs at [email protected] or (262) 242-7979 by May 22nd.
