Dear Lumen Christi Parishioner,
Thank you for choosing to be a part of our parish!
Lumen Christi’s present financial condition is sound, yet as the parish ages, we need to continue to bring in new contributors. Our goal is to engage more individuals who embrace our parish vision of “one family sharing the love and light of Christ” ensuring the parish thrives for future generations. We are writing to you today to ask for your help in contributing some of your time, talent, and/or treasure for the benefit of the parish.
Below is a breakdown of our current financial contributors:
Current Donors by Age & Gift Amounts:
Age | # of Donors | Average Annual Gift | Total Gifts |
---|---|---|---|
18-39 | 80 | $1,133 | $90,658 |
40-49 | 156 | $1,843 | $287,493 |
50-59 | 234 | $2,035 | $476,401 |
60-69 | 267 | $2,280 | $608,853 |
70-79 | 309 | $2,516 | $777,584 |
80+ | 353 | $1,907 | $673,261 |
Based on our parish expenses and the number of registered households, our costs are roughly $1,000 per family to keep the parish operating as “one family sharing the love and light of Christ”.
Currently, we have no record of a recent financial contribution. If you are contributing cash to the weekly basket, we want to make sure you are getting credit. You can easily sign up as an official donor via the link below. We would be extremely grateful with a weekly minimum contribution of $20 and/or make a pledge for 2024.

All envelope and offertory gifts go toward the general operating budget of the parish. These funds provide for all ministries of School, Catholic Formation, Human Concerns, Sacraments, and Community Outreach as well as lighting, heat, snowplowing, and all other daily parish expenses.
If you are unable to give financially, please consider signing up for one of the 100+ ministries at Lumen Christi. Below is a helpful link to our opportunities to deepen your spiritual commitment to the parish by giving of your time and talent.
