There is an Age of Wisdom meeting on Tuesday, November 1 at 1:30 PM in St. James Hall. Rich Harter, Lumen Christi parishioner, and Director of the St. Clare Catholic Center at Cardinal Stritch will present The Saints - Our Models and Intercessors. Rich holds a Master of Theological Studies degree from St. Francis de Sales Seminary and has worked as a Catholic lay minister in a variety of roles for 42 years. All are invited to attend Mass for the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed. Mass will conclude with a procession to our cemetery. (Participation in the procession is optional.) A reception hosted by the Lumen Christi Bereavement Committee will take place following Mass in St. James Hall. All are welcome. The 7:00 PM Mass will not have a procession or reception.

Children ages K3-1st grade are invited to attend Children's Liturgy of the Word during the 9:00 AM Mass the first and third Sunday of the month. Children will be dismissed before the Liturgy of the Word (1st reading) and return after the homily to join their families. Children’s Liturgy of the Word breaks down the Word into language and materials appropriate for young children so they can understand what is being proclaimed at Mass. Lumen Christi Adult Choir will be traveling to All Saints Catholic Church in Milwaukee for a special liturgy celebrating their parish feast day on Sunday, November 6th at the 11:00 AM Mass at All Saints Catholic Church (4051 N. 25th St., Milwaukee, WI 53209).
